Private Banking Officer (3-6 month contract)

About the role

This 3‑to‑6‑month contract position supports the Private Banking team in Paris. The role is customer‑facing and on‑site, providing operational and administrative assistance while handling AML/KYC compliance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational and administrative support to the Private Banking Relationship team.
• Assist Relationship Managers with client onboarding and ongoing KYC reviews.
• Execute Financial Crime Prevention controls and ensure compliance with AML/KYC policies.
• Perform due‑diligence, including Enhanced Due Diligence, using internal sources and external tools such as Lexis Nexis, World Check, and Banker’s Almanac.
• Maintain accurate KYC records in the bank’s systems and meet review targets.
• Handle general client queries via phone, in‑person, fax, post or email.
• Process client requests to amend static data, execute foreign‑exchange deals, and manage Visa card and online‑banking requests.
• Prepare and distribute client statements, vouchers, and other documentation as needed.

Required profile

• Customer‑facing attitude with ability to work on‑site in Paris.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulatory requirements and compliance policies.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to meet strict quality and time targets.
• Ability to collaborate with Relationship Managers, Compliance, and Controls teams.
