Part-Time Lecturer in Economics (Microeconomics) – Paris

About the role

Forward College seeks a part‑time Lecturer in Economics (Microeconomics) to teach two separate courses for its Open Bachelor’s programme on the Paris campus. The appointment runs from September 2026 to April 2027 and combines classroom teaching with one‑on‑one tutoring.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 22 hours of teaching and 7.5 hours of tutoring for Course 1 (8 students) and 44 hours of teaching plus 15 hours of tutoring for Course 2.
• Design and implement a syllabus that follows Forward College’s active‑learning and flipped‑classroom model.
• Prepare and lead 11 seminar sessions (2 hours each) for Course 1 and additional sessions for Course 2.
• Create, grade, and provide feedback on three formative assessments per course.
• Conduct individual tutoring sessions (20 minutes per student, twice per term).

Required profile

• PhD in Economics.
• Experience teaching microeconomics, industrial organization, or related fields at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to work with small, diverse groups of international students.
