Manufacturing Engineering Preparator

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Preparator to join its Manufacturing Engineering department in Toulouse, France. You will contribute to the development of innovative propulsive concepts and help ensure timely, high‑quality aircraft deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Define macro and assembly routings for secondary structures and system installation, covering traditional and innovative processes.
• Analyze technical requirements and incorporate manufacturing constraints during pre‑development phases.
• Manage manufacturing dossiers for recurring and non‑recurring cost estimates linked to macro routings.
• Perform comparative analyses on materials, processes, and industrial systems to meet program and production goals.
• Deliver product‑level and industrial‑system‑level documentation for maturity reviews.

Required profile

• Significant knowledge in mechanical preparation and design, preferably within the aerospace sector.
• Understanding of both traditional and innovative end‑to‑end manufacturing processes, including modular approaches.
• Experience with secondary structures or mechanical systems integration for new industrial systems or major product modifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CATIA (primarily 3D modeling).
