Manual QA Engineer – Web & CRM Applications

About the role

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality of web applications and internal CRM systems for a fast‑growing product environment in France. You will work closely with product managers and developers, taking part in feature discussions and influencing quality standards from the earliest stages of development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Execute manual functional, regression, smoke, usability and UI/UX tests across web apps, CRM platforms, email campaigns and push‑notification workflows.
• Validate API functionality using Postman, Swagger or similar tools, covering both positive and negative scenarios.
• Investigate logs, network activity and console errors with browser developer tools.
• Document, prioritise and communicate defects with detailed reproduction steps and evidence.
• Participate in sprint planning, risk assessment and quality‑related discussions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve testing processes, standards and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of manual QA experience on web‑based applications.
• Experience testing CRM platforms, email marketing campaigns and customer communication workflows.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies and test design techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Proficiency in creating test cases, test plans and detailed bug reports using Jira or similar tools.
• Familiarity with databases (MongoDB, BigQuery, DataGrip) and basic Git version‑control operations.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with GitLab pipelines.
