Maintenance Engineer – FPSO Project

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will join the client’s maintenance engineering team on the Kaminho FPSO project in Pau. Working autonomously under the Maintenance Engineering Manager, you will help build the maintenance plan, functional location hierarchy, spare‑parts strategy and stock management framework during the EPSCC phase.

Key responsibilities

• Review EPSCC technical documentation (P&IDs, PFDs, cross‑sectional diagrams, datasheets) and extract maintenance‑relevant information.
• Support the creation of the Functional Location hierarchy within the CMMS and define maintenance tasks, frequencies, resources and procedures.
• Define multi‑discipline spare‑parts lists, set minimum/maximum and safety stock levels, and coordinate capital spare requirements with engineering and procurement.
• Enter and validate maintenance data in the CMMS, using MS Access and MS Office for reporting and coordination.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent maintenance inputs across the full EPSCC scope.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in maintenance engineering on oil & gas or industrial projects, including maintenance plan setup, functional location hierarchy and spare‑parts definition.
• Experience with stock management (minimum/maximum, safety stock, capital stock).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, cross‑sectional diagrams and technical datasheets.
• Mandatory CMMS experience (e.g., SAP PM, IBM Maximo, Infor EAM or equivalent).
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Access.
• Nice‑to‑have: previous FPSO topsides or hull maintenance experience and familiarity with deep‑water West Africa projects.
