About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Logistics System Engineer to join its Logistics Department in Marignane, France. You will help shape the future of aeronautics by designing and improving logistics processes, warehouse layouts, and material flows that support efficient on‑time delivery across the company’s sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design intra‑site and inter‑site logistics processes and infrastructure to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Create optimal warehouse layouts and specify infrastructure to maximize flow and space utilization.
• Specify logistics means in collaboration with internal customers to ensure safe, efficient material handling.
• Develop and maintain clear logistics work instructions.
• Coordinate early with production teams to ensure smooth handover of designed solutions.
• Align all logistics solutions with strategic, compliance, and environmental policies.
• Ensure processes comply with quality, export‑control, and other functional guidelines.
• Identify required changes to existing logistics infrastructure and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor process execution, detect inconsistencies, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics system design and warehouse layout planning.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret audits, operational data, and material flow metrics.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and internal customers.
• Knowledge of compliance, quality, and export‑control requirements in an industrial setting.
