Logistics Quality Improvement Manager

About the role

JD.com is seeking a Logistics Quality Improvement Manager to lead regional lean improvement projects across its supply chain network. The role combines project management expertise with a focus on cost reduction, efficiency gains, and quality enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of regional lean improvement projects, from initiation to closing evaluation.
• Set targets, design solutions, plan resources, track progress, control risks, and escalate issues as needed.
• Drive projects aimed at cost reduction, lead‑time optimization, quality improvement, exception reduction, and delivery‑station capability enhancement.
• Coordinate resources across warehouses, transportation, delivery stations, IT, finance, procurement, customer service, and external providers.
• Establish mechanisms for progress tracking, risk management, benefit monitoring, and issue logging; produce regular project reports.
• Promote project review, knowledge retention, and develop reusable templates and improvement methods.

Required profile

• More than 3 years of experience in project management, operational or logistics improvement, or supply‑chain projects.
• Experience with warehouse, transportation, delivery, or third‑party logistics projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with project‑management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2.
• Strong cross‑functional coordination, execution capability, and risk‑management awareness.
• Ability to drive projects independently and prepare clear management reviews.
