Legal Counsel – IP Enforcement

About the role

Join the Legal Department of a world‑renowned luxury brand as a Legal Counsel focused on Intellectual Property (IP) Enforcement. Based in Paris, you will work under the Legal Director for Global IP Enforcement, contributing to anti‑counterfeiting strategies and protecting the Maison’s valuable IP assets worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and monitor anti‑counterfeiting strategies in coordination with the IP Portfolio team.
• Prepare and manage pre‑litigation and litigation files, including evidence collection, cease‑and‑desist drafting, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with local agents and the Stopfake online team to authenticate products and combat online infringement.
• Train and raise awareness among police, customs, and other authorities worldwide on anti‑counterfeiting enforcement.
• Provide expert assessments for seizures, manage customs applications, and represent the brand in industry associations and working groups.

Required profile

• Degree in Intellectual Property law.
• 2‑4 years of relevant professional experience (excluding internships).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French and an additional language (e.g., Spanish or Mandarin) are a plus.
