Lead Solution Architect (H/F)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Lead Solution Architect in Puteaux. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers architects who deliver business value through information systems solutions, working with project managers, account teams and customers, and contributing to the Architect profession.

Key responsibilities

• Architect custom and reusable solutions, and customize reusable solutions for projects, programs and operations
• Capture and share architectural intellectual property, and oversee implementation and governance of architectures
• Develop long-term IT strategies and plans for clients, assess the business impact of technologies and identify technical or operational risks
• Review input on medium to large projects, collaborate with project managers on detailed plans and work breakdown structures
• Deliver sales presentations to executive and CIO levels for medium to large opportunities
• Write Statements of Work, apply program and project management methods, and lead business development, proposal preparation and SOAR reviews for medium to large opportunities
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring, and manage customer staff assigned to implementation teams where needed

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to lead a team of two or more consultants and to lead the architectural design, development, deployment and technical quality of medium to large IT solutions
• Leadership role in business development and proposal work for medium to large opportunities

Required skills

• Architectural methodologies such as Zachman and TOGAF, and familiarity with ITSM
• Information system modeling methods and tools
• Business acumen: capital investment, financial modeling, contracts and industry IT trends
• Consultative solution selling and proposal writing
• Deep knowledge of specific technologies, IT operations and standards
