About the role
The company, a leading international organisation in diagnostics and life sciences, is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth across strategic accounts in France. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will build and nurture relationships with key customers, delivering tailored solutions that support clinical and laboratory operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue within major accounts.
- Build long‑term partnerships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Identify customer requirements for performance, service and training.
- Lead tender processes and manage large‑scale commercial opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, maintain an accurate pipeline and provide forecasts.
- Prepare and deliver high‑quality proposals and commercial offers.
- Collaborate with technical, marketing and service teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Engage with key opinion leaders and represent the business at industry events.
Required profile
- Proven experience in key account management or complex B2B sales.
- Background in pathology, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and fluorescence in situ hybridisation (FISH).
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing large or strategic accounts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to navigate long sales cycles and complex purchasing environments.
- Self‑motivated, collaborative and comfortable working in a matrix organisation.
