Junior System Administrator

About the role

The Junior System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting DeepHealth's core IT systems, providing Level 1 and Level 2 Help Desk support, administering business‑critical enterprise applications, and ensuring the health, availability, and security of the IT infrastructure. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests, handling password resets, software access, connectivity and basic hardware issues.
• Provide second‑level support for escalated hardware, software and network problems.
• Manage and maintain enterprise applications such as Slack and Jira, including user provisioning and access control.
• Configure, deploy and de‑commission desktops, laptops and peripherals, maintaining accurate asset inventory.
• Monitor system availability with tools, respond to alerts and perform regular audits of configurations and user accounts.
• Coordinate backup schedules, validate data backups and assist with disaster‑recovery testing.
• Apply operating system and application patches, ensuring minimal service disruption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a System Administrator or IT Support role.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems, Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, able to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
