Junior Software Engineer - Frontend

About the role

Join Dashlane’s Analysis and Contextual Experience team to help shape the autofill engine and proactive security features of our browser extension. As a Junior Software Engineer you will build and integrate innovative frontend solutions that improve the online browsing experience while keeping users safe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Dashlane browser extension using TypeScript, JavaScript, React and RxJS.
• Work with Manifest V3 APIs, content scripts, service workers, Shadow DOM and cross‑frame messaging.
• Implement ML‑based webpage analysis for autofill and phishing detection.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests with Jest, Vitest and WebdriverIO.
• Ensure code quality through SonarQube, ESLint and CI pipelines in GitLab.
• Collaborate with product, design and security teams via Confluence, Slack and Zoom.

Required profile

• Junior‑level developer based in Paris, comfortable with a hybrid work model (3 days in office).
• Fluent English for daily communication.
• Proactive attitude toward learning AI tools and modern development practices.

Required skills

• TypeScript, JavaScript, React, RxJS.
• Browser‑extension development (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) using Manifest V3.
• Content scripts, service workers, Shadow DOM, cross‑frame messaging.
• Testing frameworks: Jest, Vitest, WebdriverIO.
• Build tools: Rspack, Webpack, Nx.
• Version control and CI: GitLab, GitLab CI, PNPM.
• Quality tools: SonarQube, ESLint.
• Monitoring: ELK, Omni.
• Experience with AI assistance tools (e.g., Claude).
