IT Manager

About the role

Dashlane, a Paris-founded credential security company with offices in Paris, Lisbon, New York and Boston, is looking for an IT Manager to lead its global IT team of five and turn IT into a proactive business partner. Based in Paris with English as the working language, the role is hybrid: in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with flexible days on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the global IT team of five: three system administrators, one IT DevOps engineer (GitLab and engineering infrastructure) and one project manager.
• Set the team's direction and priorities, and contribute directly to infrastructure, tooling and escalations when needed.
• Assess current team skills, upskill existing members and hire where required.
• Move IT from a reactive helpdesk model to a proactive partner by engaging stakeholders and proposing IT-driven solutions early.
• Integrate AI into IT operations, identifying where it removes manual work in areas such as access management and onboarding, and leading the tooling and enablement.
• Own the core IT infrastructure: Azure as the infrastructure-as-code foundation (Terraform), SSO and SCIM provisioning (Entra), endpoint management (Intune and Jamf), and GitLab for Product and Engineering, with a focus on automation, reliability and cost control.
• Partner with the CISO and security team on identity, access and endpoint security.
• Define and track IT's roadmap and success metrics, including employee satisfaction, incident volume and adoption of new tools.
• Manage the IT budget, procurement and vendor relationships, and support office moves and infrastructure decisions as the company scales.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years managing a team.
• Track record of moving a team or function from reactive to proactive, with examples of automated or redesigned processes.
• Experience in a security-sensitive environment and comfort partnering with a CISO and security team.
• Experience in a scaling company where offices, tools and processes are still evolving.
• Fluent English, spoken and written; French or Portuguese is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands-on administration of modern IT environments: Azure, Google Workspace, MDM/endpoint management and SaaS provisioning.
• Familiarity with GitLab or similar developer environments.
• Experience using AI tools and automation to reduce manual work in IT operations.
