International Account Manager – FMCG (France market) – Rotterdam

About the role

We are looking for an International Account Manager to drive growth for our FMCG portfolio in the French market, based in Rotterdam. You will join a multinational food‑and‑drink manufacturer and work closely with the Senior International Account Manager (France) to manage key retail and food‑service accounts, develop new business and ensure profitable turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop strategic key accounts across retail and food‑service channels in France.
• Maintain and expand the product range through regular customer visits, trade fairs and business‑plan development.
• Monitor sales, margins and profitability, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain, new‑product‑development, technical and finance teams to ensure flawless execution.
• Identify and acquire new customers, increase product listings and optimise pricing strategies.
• Provide market insights and competitive analysis to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business or equivalent.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in FMCG, with exposure to retail and/or food‑service B2B channels.
• Proven key‑account management and business‑development track record (hunter mindset).
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally and relocate to the Rotterdam area.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence.

• Microsoft Office (mandatory).
• SAP (preferred).
