Ingénieur(e) Maintenance – équipements d’inspection et métrologie

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer for Applied Materials, you will be the direct liaison with customers, ensuring the high‑availability of advanced metrology and inspection equipment such as scanning electron microscopes and optical systems installed in clean‑rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on metrology equipment in client clean‑rooms.
• Diagnose technical faults and resolve them autonomously.
• Produce detailed intervention reports and present technical analyses to customers.
• Collaborate with the zone manager to prepare monthly safety reviews, issue listings and parts usage tracking.
• Drive innovations to improve maintenance procedures and reduce costs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Technical background with a Master’s or engineering degree and at least 2 years of similar experience (or Bac+2/3 with 10 years in micro‑electronics, electrotechnics, physics, chemistry or mechanical engineering).
• Strong autonomy in maintenance operations and diagnostics.
• Advanced computer knowledge and willingness to travel abroad for training.
• Excellent technical communication skills and sufficient English to understand procedures and interact with international teams.

What we offer

• Base salary €38 400 – €52 800 per year (13‑month pay).
• Transport allowance €650 per month and performance bonus up to 10 % of base salary.
