Industrial Metrology Leader & Process Owner

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Industrial Metrology Leader & Process Owner to join the Quality & Manufacturing Engineering team in Toulouse, France. You will act as the global authority for metrology and the process-owner framework, driving measurement transformation and modernising equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the global measurement framework aligning with ISO 10012, ISO 17025 and EASA regulations.
• Lead the “Future Metrology” project, defining roadmap, budget and deployment of modernised tooling.
• Manage the Process Management Team across international final assembly lines and manufacturing plants.
• Implement Measurement Decision Rules to reduce technical non-conformities and concessions.
• Represent Airbus Metrology before aviation authorities such as EASA.

Required profile

• Background in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field with strong precision‑metrology experience.
• At least ten years of proven experience leading complex, large‑scale transnational projects.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 10012, ISO/IEC 17025 standards and EASA regulatory guidelines.
• Strong executive engagement skills, able to influence VP/SVP stakeholders.
• Fluent English; proficiency in French, German or Spanish is a plus.
