Industrial Architect – New Developments & Dynamic Systems

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Industrial Architect to support the industrialisation of next‑generation helicopters. Based at the Marignane site, you will work closely with design offices and production teams to create flexible, high‑performance manufacturing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define the industrial architecture, including production and assembly concepts, process optimisation, and logistical flows.
• Ensure product design and operations set‑up comply with the Operations Strategy, requirements and performance targets.
• Manage configuration definition, maturity plans, and verification & validation activities.
• Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse value‑chain creation and act as the industrial interface with external suppliers.
• Apply standard processes and tools such as APQP, IPM, FAI, and related documentation (DEV‑03, DEV‑08).

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial engineering or architecture within aerospace or a comparable high‑tech sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimise processes and logistical flows.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary, transnational teams.
• Ability to manage complex configuration and maturity planning activities.
