In-Service Engineer – Aircraft Systems

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an In‑Service Engineer to join its Cabin & Cargo Systems team in Toulouse. You will support global airline operations by delivering technical solutions that safely return aircraft to service and enhance airline autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate troubleshooting assistance to worldwide customers to ensure safe aircraft return to service.
• Identify, propose and implement solutions that reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Monitor system performance, investigate root causes of emerging issues and launch corrective actions.
• Represent the customer’s voice in new product developments and system modifications.
• Design and deliver innovative engineering services, including on‑site assistance and workshops.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of aeronautics or airline operations.
• Technical expertise in aircraft systems such as Supplemental Cooling, Equipment and Furnishings, Fire Protection, Ice/Rain Protection, Oxygen, and Water/Waste.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with customers, design offices, vendors and internal departments.
• High autonomy and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Professional proficiency in English.
