Helicopter Mechanic H225 (H/F)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters SAS is looking for a helicopter mechanic (H225) to join its team in the Marseille area. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance on helicopters, in line with maintenance directives and regulations, and is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on different types of helicopters according to maintenance directives and regulations.
• Diagnose and identify mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Perform repairs, adjustments and replacement of defective parts.
• Carry out inspections and checks needed to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
• Keep maintenance records complete and accurate, ensuring traceability of interventions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance procedures.
• Work closely with other team members (technicians, team leaders) and strictly follow safety instructions and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in aeronautical maintenance (CAP, BEP, Bac Pro Aéronautique, BTS Maintenance des véhicules option A aéronautique, Licence professionnelle maintenance aéronautique, etc.) or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in helicopter maintenance strongly preferred.
• Attention to detail, analytical spirit, problem-solving ability, autonomy, teamwork and a strong commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, flight controls and ideally helicopter avionics.
• Mastery of aeronautical maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
• Proficiency with computer tools such as SAP, MES and logbooks.
