Group Financial Controller & Head of Accounting

About the role

Alstef Group is seeking a Group Financial Controller who will also act as Head of Accounting. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be a strategic partner driving finance function excellence across a fast‑growing international organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Group Holding and EMEA accounting teams and supervise APAC & Americas accounting units.
• Oversee monthly Group reporting (P&L, cash flow, net debt) and consolidated financial statements under French GAAP.
• Ensure production of local statutory accounts and compliance with shareholder agreements and banking covenants.
• Manage treasury activities, cash pooling, short‑term financing, working‑capital optimisation and FX exposure.
• Coordinate tax compliance, internal controls, accounting policies and risk‑mitigation tools.
• Support M&A due diligence, post‑merger integration and harmonisation of accounting standards.
• Develop and standardise reporting practices across all geographies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in international finance, accounting and reporting.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑regional finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP, statutory reporting and banking covenants.
• Demonstrated expertise in treasury, cash management and working‑capital optimisation.
• Experience with M&A processes and post‑integration finance integration.
