Group EHS Manager – Europe/Global

About the role

The Group EHS Manager will lead Environment, Health & Safety performance across multiple European manufacturing sites while supporting global programmes. Reporting to the Group Head of EHS, you will act as the primary liaison between factories, senior leadership and regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Guide factory EHS managers and site directors on compliance, culture and sustainability.
• Develop, implement and monitor factory‑level and corporate EHS initiatives.
• Prepare and present performance metrics, audit results and regulatory reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Support global EHS standards, regulatory frameworks and sustainability projects.
• Lead investigations, incident reporting and performance tracking.
• Coach and develop EHS talent across the group.

Required profile

• Fluent English with willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
• Degree in EHS, Environmental Sciences or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 7+ years of EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of EU and local safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• ISO 14001 environmental management system.
• Experience with audits, risk assessments and regulatory reporting.
• Relevant certifications such as CSP, CIH (advantageous).

• Competitive salary €115,000‑€130,000 per year plus 15% bonus.
