Group Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Group Controller to lead day‑to‑day financial operations for our French and international footprint. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will collaborate with a five‑person finance team and support the integration of recent acquisitions in France and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly consolidated reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate annual financial statement preparation, including IFRS consolidation, transfer pricing and intercompany reconciliation.
• Manage the reinternalization of the US acquisition closing process in partnership with external accountants.
• Handle all group accounting operations: billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, revenue recognition, group consolidation and intercompany transactions.
• Lead auditor coordination, cash collection, and the upcoming ERP implementation.
• Contribute to due‑diligence, refinancing or exit processes as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and short‑term cash‑flow forecasting alongside the FP&A analyst and CFO.
• Document and strengthen internal controls, resolve discrepancies and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of relevant experience with a strong accounting and controls background (audit, transaction services or similar).
• Experience in a multi‑entity group, LBO or SaaS environment.
• Fluent in French and English, comfortable communicating with French, US and UK teams.
• Interest in automation and modern finance tooling, including AI.
• Ability to work autonomously in a high‑growth, strategic and hands‑on environment.
• Deep knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and compliance standards.
• Prior ERP implementation experience (e.g., Netsuite, Sage100) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
