Global Master Data Management Steward – Customer

About the role

The Global Master Data Management Steward – Customer will own the quality, consistency, and lifecycle of customer master data across Royal Canin’s enterprise systems. Acting as the bridge between business operations and data governance, you will ensure that master data supports business processes, analytics, and AI‑driven decision‑making at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day stewardship of customer master data, tracking completeness and accuracy KPIs.
• Monitor data quality metrics, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with business users, process owners, and functional teams to translate requirements into clear data definitions, rules, and governance standards.
• Apply enterprise data governance policies, maintain data structures, hierarchies, and attribute definitions.
• Support transformation programs (e.g., EOS) by preparing data, assisting in testing, migration, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to simplify master data maintenance.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in data management, data governance, or master data activities.
• Proven experience supporting MDM processes across business domains.
• Strong understanding of business processes, data flows, and stakeholder collaboration in a global or matrix environment.
