Global Business Controller – Otometrics

About the role

The Global Business Controller Otometrics is a senior finance leadership position responsible for international accounting oversight and strategic financial partnership for the Hearing & Balance business. Reporting to the Global Controller, the role works closely with senior leaders across Europe and Asia to drive performance, ensure compliance, and support key initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary finance partner to the Hearing & Balance leadership team, providing insight on revenue, gross margin and operating expenses.
• Lead monthly results reporting, forecasts, and variance analysis against plan and prior year.
• Own the H&B budget, forecast and strategic planning inputs, aligning operational plans with financial outcomes.
• Support product launches, cost‑optimization projects and strategic investments with financial modeling and analysis.
• Promote financial discipline, transparency and accountability across the organization.
• Provide accounting leadership for international legal entities in Europe and Asia, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate filings, statutory financial statements and act as main liaison with external auditors.
• Review accounting judgments, balance‑sheet accounts and close activities for accuracy and policy consistency.
• Partner with local finance teams to strengthen internal controls and standardize close processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in multinational environments.
• Proven experience with statutory reporting, audits and regulatory requirements across multiple countries.
• Strong business‑partnering ability with a track record of translating financial data into actionable insights.
