Fullstack Software Engineer – AI‑Native Platform

About the role

Alan is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to help build the AI‑powered internal platform that powers everyday work across the company. You will join a highly autonomous team that values radical transparency, async collaboration, and AI‑driven productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship a full‑stack platform used daily by all Alan employees for navigation, context retrieval, and action execution.
• Create intelligent agents that automate core organizational workflows such as onboarding, knowledge retrieval, performance alignment, and decision support.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) into production for structured reasoning, agentic task execution, and deep tool integration.
• Define reusable AI‑native primitives and abstractions that scale across teams and countries.
• Replace generic HR, performance, and identity tools with opinionated, Alan‑specific software.
• Build and scale Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) across 25+ systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, security, and leadership to translate cultural principles into software.

Required profile

• Strong passion for building scalable, high‑impact software in a fast‑moving health‑tech environment.
• Self‑directed mindset comfortable with distributed decision‑making and async communication.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into concrete, production‑ready solutions.

Required skills

• Full‑stack development experience (frontend and backend).
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, especially large language models.
• Experience designing and operating IAM/PAM or similar security systems.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining complex, data‑driven platforms.
