Full Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician (M/F) – Toulouse

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Full Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician to join the Training Devices Maintenance & Support department in Toulouse. The role involves providing front‑line technical support to instructors and trainees, ensuring the reliability of flight simulators and contributing to the training centre’s operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform operation and maintenance tasks on training devices to meet Airbus reliability and MTBF standards.
• Execute high‑quality troubleshooting of IT and electronic failures, both during regular hours and outside of them.
• Provide technical support for training sessions and generate detailed reports for internal teams.
• Maintain simulator availability during off‑hours and cover for the Team Leader when absent.
• Apply software and hardware updates to keep devices at the required performance level.

Required profile

• Bac+2/+3 in Aeronautics, IT, automation or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience with flight simulators, preferably in a maintenance role.
• Intermediate English proficiency and ability to work shift schedules including nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Network knowledge.
• Windows Server administration.
• Linux operating system familiarity.
• Understanding of Airbus aircraft flight systems.
• IT and electronics troubleshooting.
