About the role
Fluorochem Ltd is seeking a French Business Development Executive to expand its presence in France. The role is remote, covering the Paris and Lyon markets, and focuses on driving sales of catalogue chemicals, custom synthesis, and CRO/CDMO services to pharmaceutical, biotech, academic and industrial customers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the French market.
- Identify, prospect and acquire new customers across pharma, biotech, academia and industry.
- Generate revenue from catalogue products, custom synthesis projects and contract research/manufacturing services.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
- Deliver product presentations and commercial proposals to scientists and procurement teams.
- Represent Fluorochem at industry exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings in France and Europe.
- Collaborate with internal scientific and commercial teams to design tailored solutions.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts and share market intelligence.
Required profile
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the chemical, pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
- Strong network of contacts in French scientific and procurement communities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in French and English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting targets.
