Flight Control Laws Designer – Toulouse

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Flight Control Laws Designer to join its Flight Control & Avionics department in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a 14‑person team responsible for flight control laws on IFCS and R&T projects, covering the full technical lifecycle from desktop simulation to flight tests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design flight control laws for specific aircraft projects.
• Drive system integration, verification and validation activities from simulation tools to final flight tests.
• Model and test control systems using Matlab, Simulink, Osma and Ocasime.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on handling qualities, system computers and actuators.
• Manage interfaces and ensure regular deliverables with stakeholders across domains, functions and countries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in systems engineering with a strong background in automatic control or flight physics and dynamics.
• Technical expertise in control simulation tools, especially Matlab and Simulink.
• Excellent attention to detail while keeping a clear view of the overall system.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse, cross‑functional and international teams.
