Flagship Store Manager - Champs-Elysées, Paris

About the role

ALO is looking for a Store Manager for its flagship store on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. The Store Manager leads, manages and develops all aspects of the store's business, creates a positive and productive work environment aligned with the company's mission, and is accountable for sales and profitability goals, operational objectives, merchandising standards and the Sales, Operations and Visual team.

Key responsibilities

• Retail leader: develop and execute the store's retail strategy, know the local clientele and competitors, follow business trends and use KPIs to drive business strategies
• Team leader: ensure the team reflects ALO's mission, coach and train staff, manage performance, plan career progression and succession, and recruit internally and externally
• Operations leader: oversee Sales, Service, Operations and Visual managers, enforce operational and visual guidelines, champion visual standards and maintain a safe, efficient workplace
• Business partner: collaborate with cross-functional partners, act as a brand ambassador, and create effective communication across the store

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in retail or a related industry
• Business owner mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, independent work ethic and time management
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and move for a full shift, and climb ladders
• Right to live and work in the country from the start of employment
• Availability for opening, closing and weekend shifts, including Black Friday through the end of the holiday season

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
