Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our European Controlling team, responsible for around eight entities operating under IFRS in France, the Netherlands, and Germany. You will ensure accurate, consistent, and timely financial reporting while providing insights that support executive decision‑making and strengthen internal governance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and business plans; conduct variance analysis and identify performance drivers.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, producing statutory reports, dashboards, and management presentations in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Consolidate financial data across all entities, ensuring consistent accounting treatments and robust internal controls.
• Coordinate external audits, serve as the primary contact for auditors, and manage audit documentation.
• Develop financial models and business cases for investment decisions, including NPV, IRR, payback period, and scenario analysis.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, controlling, and reporting concepts, especially under IFRS.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
