Field Engineering Manager – France

About the role

As a Field Engineering Manager in France, you will lead a high‑performing team of technical pre‑sales Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers. You will work at the intersection of technology and business, helping customers design value‑based solutions and supporting sales cycles across large organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a pre‑sales team based in France.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture aligned with Databricks’ values.
• Partner with Sales to drive growth through solution‑ and value‑based selling.
• Establish best practices to improve team efficiency and business impact.
• Build trusted relationships with customer executives, strategic partners and internal stakeholders.
• Represent Databricks in the regional leadership team and enhance the company’s market presence.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Track record of leading, mentoring and scaling pre‑sales or technical field organisations.
• Strong communication skills in English and native‑level French.
• Understanding of consumption‑based business models.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and cross‑functional leaders.
