About the role
We are looking for an Extended Care Staff member to supervise and engage children in after‑school activities. The role is integral to our school’s commitment to the ISP principles, which place children’s safety, wellbeing and development at the heart of everything we do. You will also uphold our safeguarding policies and contribute to an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes continuous learning.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities.
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children at all times.
- Support children’s developmental and educational needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress and any concerns.
Required profile
- Experience in childcare, preferably within an educational setting.
- Relevant certifications in childcare or early childhood education.
Required skills
- Strong childcare and communication abilities.
- Excellent patience and capacity to work with young children.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
