Summer Camp Substitute Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a Summer Camp Substitute to deliver pre‑prepared lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment, and ensure the safety and engagement of students throughout the camp period. This role supports the regular teaching staff by covering a range of subjects and year groups on short notice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑prepared lessons left by the regular teacher, meeting learning objectives.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment through effective classroom management.
• Supervise students to ensure safety and engagement during lessons and transitions.
• Follow school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour procedures.
• Provide feedback to the regular teacher about student progress and any issues encountered.
• Adapt quickly to cover various subjects and year groups as needed.
• Assist students with their work, encouraging participation and effort.
