Expert en Airbus Operating System – Lean Manufacturing (H/F)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Expert to join the Airbus Operating System (AOS) department in Toulouse. You will help shape Airbus' global operational excellence framework and drive the deployment of industrial standards across final assembly lines.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and spread Lean/AOS standards on the shop floor using a collaborative empowerment approach.
• Coach managers and change agents to build an autonomous continuous‑improvement culture.
• Assess industrial maturity and performance with Airbus‑defined diagnostics and checklists.
• Lead or support cross‑functional transformation projects mandated by senior executives.
• Develop and update Lean/AOS standards and methodologies following a structured six‑phase process.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience leading continuous‑improvement and Lean initiatives on the factory floor.
• Proven ability to work directly in production environments rather than only as a project manager.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate operational performance and maturity.
• Excellent communication and coaching capabilities.
