Experienced Metal Static Engineer – Aircraft Structures

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Experienced Metal Static Engineer to join the Aircraft Fuselage Structures Engineering Analysis team in Toulouse, France. The role focuses on static strength analysis and certification of nose and centre fuselage structures for the A320 family, supporting design updates, maintenance and in‑service support.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, justify and certify static strength of fuselage structures, including continuous improvement projects.
• Define static strength requirements, propose design updates and validate stress dossiers.
• Support technical leader on quality and performance of static deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to optimise structural solutions and ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations.
• Collaborate with certification, maintenance and methods teams on aircraft modifications.

Required profile

• Degree in aerospace, mechanical or structural engineering.
• Several years of experience in static stress analysis for aircraft structures.
• Strong knowledge of certification processes and airworthiness requirements.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical results.
