Executive Assistant to VP Europe & Public Affairs

About the role

Join Safran's International Development and Government Affairs Department as an Executive Assistant supporting the Europe Vice‑President, the Public Affairs Vice‑President for France and Multilateral Affairs, and the Military Advisor. Based at Safran’s headquarters in Paris, you will ensure smooth daily operations, manage complex agendas, and contribute to high‑visibility events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to three senior VPs, including agenda management, mission planning, and preparation of briefing materials.
• Oversee purchasing processes and procurement activities for the Europe and EU teams.
• Manage the team budget in collaboration with the Finance Business Partner, monitoring deviations and identifying optimisation opportunities.
• Organise internal seminars, meetings, and external events such as the Paris Air Show and engagements with strategic partners.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new team members from an administrative perspective.
• Contribute to communication initiatives by establishing standards and sharing best practices.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with strong organisational and project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from junior staff to senior executives.
• Experience in budget management and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication skills and meticulous agenda management.
• Familiarity with Windows‑based tools; project‑management experience is a plus.
