Environment Officer – Sustainability & Eco‑Design

About the role

ATR is seeking an Environment Officer to join its Sustainability and Environment Department in Toulouse. You will lead the Environmental Management System, drive eco‑design initiatives, and support the company’s sustainability roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Environmental Management System (EMS) across all business processes.
• Maintain ISO 14001 certification, plan internal and external audits, and ensure closure of findings.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual environmental performance reports.
• Develop and deliver communication and awareness materials for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate the environmental network in partnership with Quality, Health & Safety, and other functions.
• Define and implement the company’s eco‑design strategy, integrating Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) into product development.
• Measure and report the environmental benefits of eco‑design initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Environment, QSE Management, Ecodesign or a related field.
• Proven experience managing an EMS and ISO 14001 certification.
• Strong understanding of eco‑design principles and LCA methodology.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and promote an environmental culture.
