End-to-End Engineering Manager – OneSat

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking an End‑to‑End Engineering Manager for its OneSat Chief Engineering department in Toulouse. You will lead the definition, justification and management of system requirements and architecture for OneSat satellite communication programmes, acting as the main technical interface with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and analyse customer telecommunication mission needs, including air‑interface, ground‑segment and user‑terminal requirements.
• Develop and consolidate the System Concept of Operations and OneSat product portfolio specifications.
• Define and manage internal and external system interfaces, coordinating with ground, satellite and operations experts.
• Support Integration, Verification and Validation (IVV) activities for the programme.
• Monitor and plan end‑to‑end engineering activities, ensuring timely technical problem resolution.
• Organise and lead technical workshops and prepare data packs for project reviews with customers.
• Assist the customer project manager in tracking and negotiating technical aspects of the contract.

Required profile

• Proven experience in system engineering for satellite or telecommunications programmes.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end architecture, ground‑segment and space‑segment integration.
• Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with customers and internal experts.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites in Europe or worldwide.
• Eligibility for security clearance.
