Embedded C# Engineer – NFC & EMV Test Solutions

About the role

Fime is looking for an Embedded Engineer with strong C# development skills to join its NFC and EMV test‑tool team. You will work on innovative contactless‑payment solutions, creating and maintaining test software used by leading manufacturers of NFC chips, mobile devices and payment terminals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse EMV, NFC and ISO L1 analog & digital protocol behaviour to ensure industry‑standard compliance.
• Design, develop and maintain test tools based on EMV L1 specifications and certification test plans for PICC & PCD analog and digital cases.
• Implement NFC Forum compliance test tools covering analogue, digital and WLC NFC tag testing.
• Integrate hardware instruments (oscilloscopes, signal amplifiers, RF measurement tools, protocol analyzers) into automated test environments.
• Perform waveform analysis, protocol validation and debugging of analogue and digital communication signals.
• Develop the software product using C# and .NET, write unit tests and ensure non‑regression of existing features.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, external certification, QA and validation teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports and compliance artefacts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics, embedded systems, computer science or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with EMV/NFC testing, protocol validation or test‑tool development.
• Proficiency in C# development and .NET framework.
• Familiarity with EMVCo or NFC Forum certification processes.
