Elevator Maintenance Technician (H/F)

About the role

The Elevator Maintenance Technician ensures the safety, performance and reliability of lift equipment for KONE customers in Mulhouse. You will act as the main point of contact on‑site, delivering high‑quality service, accurate reporting and proactive communication to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, emergency call‑outs and unplanned repairs while respecting schedules and safety standards.
• Maintain real‑time back‑reporting of work performed at the equipment level to ensure data accuracy in e‑Optimum and customer notifications.
• Manage on‑site stock, identify spare part needs and coordinate with the supervisor for replenishment.
• Ensure a safe working environment, identify site risks, and apply escalation procedures when high‑risk situations arise.
• Raise sales leads, submit timesheets, and keep service tools, van and instrumentation in good condition.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑relationship focus with the ability to communicate ETA, job details and follow‑up information clearly.
• Proven ability to plan workload, prioritize tasks and work independently under the supervision of a service manager.
• Commitment to safety, equipment performance and adherence to maintenance and safety instructions.
• Willingness to continuously improve processes, provide feedback and attend training on lift technology.
• Flexibility to work on‑site and respond to urgent service calls as required.
