Director of Operations

About the role

The Operations Director will lead end‑to‑end operational excellence for RFID hardware and tag products, overseeing manufacturing, supply chain, quality, logistics and delivery across EMEA, APAC and coordination with US operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global operations strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Manage manufacturing operations (in‑house and contract), including capacity planning, yield, scrap and efficiency targets.
• Standardize processes, drive continuous improvement and implement dual‑sourcing for critical suppliers.
• Negotiate costs, establish long‑term agreements and mitigate risks such as shortages or geopolitical impacts.
• Own COGS, operational budgets and productivity targets; lead cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Implement and track KPIs (OTD, inventory turns, manufacturing yield, cost variances) and lead S&OP to balance demand, supply and inventory.
• Ensure product compliance with regulatory standards (CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH, ISO) and oversee quality controls, CAPA and field issue analysis.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing, supply‑chain or operations within a technology‑focused industrial environment.
• Strong track record of delivering cost‑effective, scalable operations and meeting margin targets.
• Ability to integrate financial and operating plans with strategic objectives.
