Director of Human Resources Operations

About the role

Aqualia France is seeking a Director of Human Resources Operations to lead HR strategy and execution for its growing French operations. Based in Paris, you will work closely with local and group stakeholders to ensure HR initiatives align with global standards while respecting French labor law.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align HR strategic priorities for French operations with high growth potential.
• Support implementation of key HR initiatives, ensuring coherence with global standards and local legal requirements.
• Provide expertise in French labor law, shaping labor‑related approaches across the zone.
• Guide interpretation and application of labor frameworks, balancing corporate principles and local regulations.
• Collaborate on labor‑relations topics and prepare discussions with employee representative bodies.
• Design and roll out cross‑functional HR projects such as performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Participate in governance forums and committees on people, organization, and workplace environment.
• Promote alignment with company policies and values to ensure a consistent, compliant employee experience.
• Contribute to transversal initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Law or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience managing labor relations and local labor legislation in a multinational context.
• Native French speaker with good level of Spanish and/or English (mandatory).
