Data Analysis Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Analysis Intern to support a French fintech client. You will help transform raw financial exports into clean, structured data that can be used for reporting and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Examine data exports and identify missing, duplicated or incorrectly formatted records.
• Clean and migrate data between the client’s software tools and a PostgreSQL database.
• Assist in building simple dashboards that give a clear view of the client’s operations.
• Document findings and communicate progress through regular video check‑ins.
• Learn and apply the company’s data‑migration process while working remotely.

Required profile

• Organised and comfortable working with large sets of numbers.
• Ability to spot patterns or errors without becoming overwhelmed.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to ask questions and be honest about knowledge gaps.
• Persistence when data does not add up.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of database structures.
• Ability to write simple SQL queries, preferably on PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data inspection and cleaning.
