Country Manager – France

About the role

Our client, a global medical technology company, is looking for an entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead its French legal entity. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the full P&L and be responsible for driving growth, market expansion, and organisational development across France.

Key responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership: manage revenue, profitability, budgeting, forecasting and cost control in line with the global strategy.
• Business development: define and execute the France market strategy, optimise portfolio, pricing and customer mapping, and identify new partnership and channel opportunities.
• Organisational design & talent: evolve the local structure, recruit, develop and retain top talent, and embed performance management and succession planning.
• Governance & compliance: ensure adherence to French legal, regulatory and corporate governance requirements and provide transparent reporting to leadership.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience (Managing Director, Country Manager or Sales Director) with full P&L accountability.
• Strong background in commercial strategy or sales leadership within a B2B environment.
• Proven experience managing direct sales models.
• Comfortable operating in an international, matrixed organisation.
• Hands‑on, entrepreneurial execution style with strong financial acumen.
• Inspirational people leader with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
