Country Manager – EV Charging & Battery Storage (France)

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Country Manager to lead our French operations in the fast‑growing EV charging and battery‑storage market. The role combines strategic leadership, business development, and operational oversight for both residential and commercial solutions, driving sustainable mobility and energy storage across France.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market expansion strategies for home and business EV charging and battery‑storage solutions.
• Build and nurture partnerships with OEMs, utilities, government agencies, and commercial clients.
• Oversee deployment, maintenance, and customer support for charging infrastructure and storage systems.
• Ensure compliance with French energy regulations, permitting, and industry standards.
• Manage P&L, set revenue targets, and optimise operations for sustainable growth.
• Recruit, train, and lead a high‑performing local team.
• Monitor industry trends, battery‑storage innovations, and regulatory developments.
• Support grid‑integration projects, including bidirectional charging and islanding modes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in EV charging, battery storage, renewable energy, or related sectors.
• Strong business‑development, sales, and operational‑management background.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and willingness to travel across France and internationally.
