Corporate Strategy Associate (F/M)

About the role

Michelin is looking for a Corporate Strategy Associate to support its most senior leaders in Clermont-Ferrand, at the group's headquarters. The role structures, analyzes and answers high-level, long-term strategic questions, turning executive questions into fact-based recommendations by combining financial and competitive insights with a global, long-term perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Internal strategy consulting: receive and clarify strategic questions from senior leadership, turn complex problems into analytical frameworks, organize cross-functional expert teams, and act as a trusted thought partner.
• Strategic and competitive analysis: market, industry and value chain studies, competitor analysis, scenario building and identification of strategic trade-offs.
• Financial and business acumen: financial analyses supporting value creation, business cases and portfolio choices, and translating them into recommendations for non-financial audiences.
• Organizational and performance analysis: performance analysis across entities, geography or activities, and contribution to strategic KPIs.
• Sustainable finance and long-term value: integrate sustainability and ESG into analyses and evaluate long-term value creation.
• Influence and communication: prepare materials for executive committees and communicate complex analyses clearly, with a global mindset.

Required profile

• Higher education in strategy, finance, economics, engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in strategy, consulting or finance roles.
• Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems and synthesize complex information.
• Experience in international and cross-functional environments.
• Fluent English (C1); additional languages are a plus.
