About the role
The successful candidate will join a research team in Bordeaux to develop a novel photocatalytic process and investigate its reaction mechanism. This post‑doctoral position focuses on cutting‑edge photoredox catalysis applied to organic synthesis.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop methodological approaches for a new photocatalytic transformation.
- Optimize catalytic conditions to achieve high efficiency and selectivity.
- Explore the reaction scope and evaluate substrate compatibility.
- Conduct experiments under controlled pressure and temperature conditions.
- Analyse reaction pathways and elucidate mechanistic details.
Required profile
- PhD in Chemistry, preferably with a focus on organic synthesis or catalysis.
- Demonstrated experience in photoredox or photocatalytic research.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and spoken communication in French or English.
