Chef de Projet Industriel (F/H)

About the role

The Industrial Project Manager will lead cross‑functional projects that enhance production capacity, quality, and cost efficiency at MerAlliance, a leading French private‑label smoked‑fish manufacturer. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role ensures regulatory compliance, integrates new technologies, and supports business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate and implement regulatory, veterinary, quality and food‑safety requirements (IFS, internal standards) within industrial projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, participate in design and validation phases, and ensure documentation traceability.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, analyse variances and propose optimisation opportunities.
• Update project schedules, monitor milestones, and coordinate internal and external resources for installation and commissioning.
• Support the integration of new equipment or processes, conduct technical studies and facilitate information sharing between production, quality, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans and contribute to business‑continuity initiatives.
• Provide regular reporting to the project team and senior management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) or Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Food, Process Engineering or Project Management.
• 3‑5 years of experience in industrial project management, preferably in food or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, quality assurance and HSE standards.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and cross‑functional teams.
