Business Manager Animal Nutrition Specialty

About the role

Evonik is seeking a Business Manager to lead the development and expansion of its animal nutrition specialty portfolio for monogastric and ruminant markets. You will act as the commercial champion, creating demand, building relationships, and driving sales growth across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Engage directly with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to generate demand.
• Present technical and commercial solutions at customer visits, industry events, and through CRM (MS Dynamics).
• Coordinate product trials with the Technical Manager to demonstrate efficacy.
• Maintain accurate rolling forecasts and monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with technical, marketing, supply‑chain and sales teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in animal science, animal nutrition, veterinary medicine or a related field.
• Proven experience in animal nutrition, animal health or feed additives, preferably in the poultry sector.
• Strong sales, negotiation and business‑development track record.
• Excellent understanding of monogastric and/or ruminant production sectors.
• Ability to work independently and within an international, cross‑functional environment.
• Fluent English; additional Dutch, German or French is a plus.
