Business Analyst – Information Management

About the role

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is seeking a Business Analyst to support the design and implementation of an Information Lifecycle Management and Digital Preservation solution. The role will be based at MSF’s headquarters in Geneva or Paris and will work closely with project stakeholders to translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Build a functional and technical requirements catalogue for the Information Lifecycle Management solution.
• Capture functional and technical requirements using proven elicitation techniques.
• Conduct discussions with project stakeholders and team members to understand problems, needs, and ideas.
• Coordinate requirement walk‑throughs and sign‑offs, ensuring use cases and process models accurately reflect business needs.
• Prepare detailed functional and technical documentation for the solution.

Required profile

• Proven ability to capture and document functional and technical requirements.
• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating requirement workshops.
• Strong analytical skills to test validity, resolve conflicts, and prioritize requirements.
• Ability to produce clear, detailed documentation for technical teams.
